This was inspired by a night in 2004 while living in New York City where I found myself having to walk about 40 blocks home in a snow storm due to the subway getting shut down. I kept hearing the bassline in my head, and proceeded to write the piece when I arrived home.

The main foundation is the alternating time signatures between 7/4, 6/4, and 3/4.

This is the expanded version for Big Band.

There are two solos featuring piano and guitar.
